If you're like most, you're probably interested in learning more about how an addiction recovery program can achieve such amazing results. ## A Non 12-Step Rehab and Unique Approach Virtually all 12-Steps addiction treatment centers rely on the same process, which has helped many ... yet it has left many more still suffering. Many addiction recovery programs rely on behavior modification, focusing on the drug, alcohol, or substance of choice. This approach doesn't get to the root of what causes addiction. It doesn't address why people abuse drugs and alcohol in the first place. ## Getting to Underlying Core Issues That Cause Alcoholism and Addiction Our Program relies on a foundation of spiritual psychology and a process of identifying and healing underlying core issues. Most people abusing drugs or alcohol have an emotional or mental health condition, such as depression, anxiety, or trauma that lies beneath the surface. If you’ve gone through trauma, then you probably have a lot of pain buried deep down. And chances are, you’re expending *a lot* of effort to keep it pushed down. Yet despite your best efforts, that hurt rises up whenever something reminds you of your original trauma. In these triggering times, you re-experience the exact time you’d most like to forget. Then you get into addictive patterns to avoid feeling that familiar suffering. Depression and anxiety are your constant companions. You feel hopeless, trapped in a vicious cycle. So how do you treat this problem? How do you heal from the original trauma? ## Apply Love to Hurt and Heal One approach that we've had great success with is “[applying love to the places inside that hurt](https://www.theclearingnw.com/blog/understanding-anger-and-addiction).” Offering yourself kindness and unconditional acceptance is deeply therapeutic. When you apply love to the parts inside yourself that hurt, you heal. When you learn to give yourself the love you’ve been looking for, you’re free … free to stop using drugs and alcohoil to numb out, free to move forward with the rest of your life.   ## The Power of Spiritual Psychology That’s the power of Spiritual Psychology, and it's one of the main reasons why our addiction recovery program has achieved an 80% success rate.
